Stephen Ejide is Finance Operations Director in Corporate Finance & Services Management at Microsoft. His Organizational Strategy, Planning, & Enablement specializes in contract and financial management for business processes. He leads a team that owns strategy, designs operational processes, and leverages technology to drive impactful decisions for corporate finance teams.
Stephen is a native of Huntsville, AL and earned an accounting degree from The University of Alabama and an MBA from Alabama A&M University. He began his career as a Corporate and Individual Income Tax Auditor for the State of Alabama and worked as a Senior Accountant with Enterprise Holdings. His stint in the Pacific Northwest began as a financial analyst at The Boeing Company facilitating global sales and execution of avionic and non-avionic part contracts for airlines across the globe. He matriculated into roles in enterprise audit then cost management for commercial aviation . He joined Microsoft six years later as a Sr. Finance Manager in Cloud Infrastructure Strategy & Optimization, leading business case development and capital investment decisions that optimized data center and network infrastructure. Most notably, as member of the Central Finance Team, he managed the consolidation of financial performance data and analyses across all business units to support Microsoft’s CFO, investor relations, and board of directors. He managed the tax planning and integration for LinkedIn’s acquisition, earned two CFO awards.
Stephen has served as a Director of the Seattle Credit Union, President of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc.—Seattle Chapter, and board member of Seattle Urban League Young Professionals. He is also an alumni of Leadership Tomorrow and Young American Leaders of Program, both of which drive civic engagement, social awareness, and economic development through leadership and cross-sector collaboration. Stephen is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and remains dedicated to advancing opportunities in underserved communities.
