Bambo Adeshiyan

Founder, The Winchester Aid Alliance, Inc.

Submitting to his true calling of carrying out charitable endeavors, Bambo Adeshiyan founded and currently serves as Executive Director of The Winchester Aid Alliance, Inc., a human services nonprofit organization which, through its official programs, focuses on the strategic identification and associated resolutions that combat the issues of those in need, primarily in African American and minority communities.


Prior to his nonprofit efforts, Adeshiyan acquired nearly two decades of professional experience in relationship management via public relations, luxury brand management, and tech-specific talent acquisition. Adeshiyan started his public relations journey in Washington, DC and Atlanta, GA, joining internationally recognized companies FleishmanHillard Inc. and the nation’s leading financial services PR firm, William Mills Agency, respectively. Adeshiyan would also run several freelance public relations accounts, including the Atlanta International Fashion Week and the artist campaign for Atlanta-based independent rap group, Hard County, managing to have the group compete for and ultimately win Hot 107.9 radio station’s unsigned artist battle for two consecutive days.


His efforts in public relations and media relations led him to the Southwest, Dallas, TX particularly, joining black-owned PR agency, m strategies, inc. Here, as an Account Executive, Adeshiyan headed PR campaigns for Square One Creative Group and NIIT ELS. He also oversaw both the agency’s internship and pro bono programs. During his time in Dallas, Adeshiyan would additionally serve as Brand Manager at the Downtown headquarters of Neiman Marcus, where he led strategic initiatives for the continued awareness and heightened profitability for the company’s premier menswear brand, Ermenegildo Zegna.


Utilizing his proven, tailored public relations skillset, Adeshiyan would also find success in, again, the relationship management and tech talent acquisition spaces, concentrating on organizational philosophies essential to him, such as championing minority opportunities in the tech space, which led him to be selected as initial Diversity & Inclusion Lead at global tech recruitment firm, K2 Partnering Solutions. He recently served as Senior Technology Recruiter for a prominent, Atlanta-based firm as well.

 

Adeshiyan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations, with honors, from Alabama State University. Upon graduation, he immediately went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Howard University’s Cathy Hughes School of Communications. He has since earned a Professional Certification in Web Development from the Georgia Institute of Technology.


Adeshiyan is a longstanding member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., via the Beta Upsilon Chapter and remains active with the chapter’s Alumni Association. He is now a member of the Sigma Omicron Lambda Alumni Chapter of his fraternity, serving the Atlanta Metro area. He is also a member of both ASU and Howard’s Atlanta Alumni Chapters. Furthermore, he remains extremely proud of his community engagement with his local mosque.
